Network Possible ??

Hi all (again)

I have a problem with the way I am networking my 837.

I have a DSL account (wanadoo.fr), I have an internal network of X machine (192.168.0.X), I have a cisco IP Phone that needs tunneling to an external server (YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY).

The only solution thats been put to me is to put everything down a tunnel and become part of the YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY network, but this removes my NAT on the router and limits my network to the constraints of the YYY companys network.

Should it be possible to keep my NAt'd 192.168.0.0 network connected locally to the DSL line AND tunnel just the IP phone through the YYY network.

Sorry if the explaination is not clear, it seemed the best way to put it at the time.

Regards

Terry

You could do a policy routing on your 837 and have any traffic coming in from the Cisco IP phone go through the tunnel interface, while the rest of the traffic is normally routed.

Thanks

I'll look into policy routing further, and mention it to the network guy installing.
