HI,

We have a new 2610XM router, in which we inserted a NM 4 A/S card which was working in other 2610 router.

Upon booting the new 2610XM router with this card, its giving the following error.

%PA-3-NOTSUPPORTED (x1): PA in slot 1 is not supported on this chassis

What version of IOS do you have running on the new router. You should at least have

12.1(14), 12.2(8)T1, 12.2(11)T, 12.2(11)YT, 12.2(12), 12.2(15)ZJ, 12.3(1), 12.3(2)T

Hope this helps

The router is running IOS Version 12.3(10)

This module should be supported on almost every version of Cisco IOS starting with 11.3T. Dont know if this is a chassis problem. Try adding another network module on the XM router (if you have one) and see if that is detected.
