We use a few routers with the switch module installed. We need to have the command "No IP IGMP Snooping" to stay in the router after a reboot, however, we always have to re-enter the command. After doing this for quite some time we're considering purchasing the newer POE switch modules for our routers. With this purchase will we be able to enter the command and keep it in the config after a reboot.
TIA

For igmp-snooping to operate properly, you need to have IGMP-Querier on the LAN, which can be provided by the Router with PIM enabled interface, or by the L2 switch itself with IGMP-Querier feature available in the new code versions.

Thanks for the reply, Cisco came back to us and told us that there's a bug for the software version so we're replacing all the old FastEthernet cards with the newer cards.
