What causes the following link errors on the 2900 and 3500 Cisco switches platforms?
" %LINK-4-ERROR: FastEthernet0/1 is experiencing errors" Knowing that:
Physical connections have been verified/changed and are fine.
Duplex and speed between the Switches and Routers /Servers are full and 100 mb/s on both sides.

What errors does the interface log? Check for any NIC compatibility issues. Make sure NIC card drivers are latest

With the show interface command you can see what kind of errors you've got.
Mostly these kind of errors are caused by duplex mismatch.
You say you have checked them, but my experience is that a server not always tells the truth.
We use a device called nettool from Fluke and with this tool connect between the two link partners you can see what the settings realy are. There are often problems with the drivers for the NIC's.

Ok, that takes care of servers.
What about 7246VXR uBR's that are connected to the C3524-XL switch which report the same problem on multiple ports?

Hi!
I'm having the exact same issue. I'm chaining a 3524 to a 3524 and am getting these same errors on both sides.
Did you ever get it resolved?
Thanks!
