Online Insertion 3945 ISR

Hi,

I need to insert 2 x brand new NM-HDV2-2T1/E1-RF with VWIC2-2MFTT1/E1 into an existing 3945 ISR. I've been reading about the Online Insertion and it appears that this is supported but it only mentions removing and replacing existing modules

THese would be brand new modules  - I'd play it safe and power down the gateways but they are very busy gateways so would like to avoid but will err on the side of caution unless someone has some real world examples of this working

Good question and it took a lot of digging, but I think if you are adding new (and not replacing existing), you'll need to power it down:
