parameter :BER valid sec

My ATMinterface is intermittenly UP-DOWN each 2 hours more and less and then the backup interface is UP . The ADSL interface is good . the only things I watch is on the dsl.When I through show dsl interface atm0/0 :BER Valid sec: 76401

What does this parameter mean?

To the best of my knowledge, there is no problem with BER counter are increased, there may be a problem with your configuration or may with some ADSL line or modem.
