PBR, set interface and Tunnel up/down.

When using PBR we could use "set interface" to to some policy routing decision.

When i define two set interfaces.. and on of them goes down... PBR will chose next one..

But this is no a true for Tunnel.

ie:

set interface Tunnel1 Tunnel2

when physical interface goes down... PBR get next one... but when Tunnel goes down it doesn't work.

There is need to manually shutdown tunnel interface...

tunnel keepalive doesn't change situation here....

Is there any solution for that ?

it may be silly query but do u hve keepalives set on both the tunnel endpoints ??

In which h/w platform u r running this and with which ios ??

becoz we had gone into trouble without keepalive working under the tunnel interface.

The problem is related to PBR

No Tunnel or tunnel keepalive.

Tunnel keepalives works fine!

After configured period it goes from up to down

to be more detailed from up/up to up/down

But Policy Route still sending packets to downed interface...
