Ping in CPT between different VLAN failed

Ping between two PCs in different VLANs failed.

In attachments are pictures of VLANs and IPs, and as it looks in Packet tracer. Also

Short explanation:

PC in VLAN 10 (10.10.1.10), connected to upper left SW2 can ping the gateway (10.10.1.1) and also gateways in other VLANS (so IP 10.1.1.1 and 10.20.1.1, both are on central MSW1 switch).  Same with two other PCs: Can ping all gateways (10.1.1.1, 10.10.1.1, 10.20.1.1). As they can all ping all gateways it is not a PCs issue, default gateway obviously works!

Central Switch MSW1 can ping anything - all PCs and Switches - so also connection between switches work!

What can be wrong? I suspect the CPT. All configs are so simple.

Thanks,

Furlo

Hi @Furlo
I have just verified the configurations. I have found that switch 2 interface GigabitEthernet0/2 is still belongs to the default VLAN, which needs to be add in VLAN 10.

Compared screenshot, left one is switch 3(which is working fine as you described), right one is switch 2 (which is having issue)

@Furlo  Everything Looks fine. you may enable IP routing on MSW1 Switch by rung command "ip routing" under config mode.

In-Case if still not working i would request to run below command on all switch and share output.

  • sh ip int br
  • sh ip route
  • sh vlan
  • sh spanning
