Hi,
I have three 6500's, 2-6509's 1-6506 all with 2500W ps's. In one W6509 and one P6506 I have that 10/100 I mentioned it's using 100W and 2.46 amps. The other A6509 is using twice that 200W and 4.79Amp.on the same 10/100 module. The only difference is that A6509 has all 48 ports used. The other two have about 12-15 port used.
Can someone with a WS-X6348-RJ-45 in a 6500 chassis do a sh power and tell me how much power it's using. Watts and Amps please.
Any help would be appreciated,
Regards,
gregg

Looked at two different 6509 chassis, each with a WS-X6348-RJ-45. "Show environment power" results:
First one using 100.38W and 2.39A; only 1 of 48 ports is connected.
Second one is also using 100.38W and 2.39A; with 10 out of 48 ports connected.
Hope this helps.
