Power Supply for the 6509

Hello,

The people that house our 6509 want to relocate the unit. The power supplies are 2500W with a 20amp locking connector, but I'm not sure if it's a 110V or 220V. Is there any way to tell for sure?

First obvious question: What's it connected to now? ANSWER: They don't know. Their panel isn't marked properly.

Any suggestions to know for sure?

Thanks,

Dave

If a 2500W PS is connected to a 220V connection, it will operate at maximum capacity.

cat6500B (enable) sh environment power

PS1 Capacity: 2331.00 Watts (55.50 Amps @42V)<<--

If it is connected to a 110V it would be half. So do the above command if running CAT OS. If running IOS, issue a sh power.
