Power Supply swap - 2620AC->2621DC

I have a dead 2620 with a working AC power supply. I also have a 2621 that has a DC power supply. Can I yank the AC power supply from the (dead) 2620 and replace the 2621's DC P/S with no ill effects?

2620 (dead) + AC P/S

2621 + DC P/S

to

2620 (dead) + DC P/S

2621 + AC P/S (usable anywhere, yay!)

I was going to just try it, but decided against potentially blowing it up.

Here is a document all about 2600 power supplies. I think you can do what you are proposing, but I have not read the document in detail yet.
