Do not "reboot" or reload the switch. Remove the power.

thanks dear
do you mean after completing the sending of the image to the switch ,we have to escape the boot flash: command and power off the device?
11-04-2018 03:23 AM
Looks like you have image that hitting with bug ( as per the description after Power off 2900 Switch it should boot normally, of not please update IOS to below version and let us know.
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCut90593
Try 15.2(2)E8
Using Xmodem and upload new version and test it.
If you still having issue, the option is raise TAC case to RMA the unit.

Hi sajjad_m1987
The correct procedure for repairing the IOS is as follows:
First, Boot the switch in ROM-MODE
Switch: flash_init
Switch: format flash
Switch: set BAUD 115200
Switch: copy xmodem: flash: <ios.image.bin>
Switch: set boot flash: <ios.image.bin>
Switch: unset BAUD
Switch: boot
...
at this point the switch should start using the new image loaded with xmodem.
regards
