I have a core 6509 with msfc doing layer 3 routing. and access 6509 switch with pfc and that has plugged into it. the phone send dscp ef. Can the access layer trust dscp and send it through the network because it has pfc.

Answered in Oct 31st post as well. Yes. With the PFC you can trust dscp inbound to switch. 6248 and 6348 require QoS ACLs - see config guides.
