Questions on Windows NTP and CallerID

Hi

Is it possible to use Windows NTP severs for time sync on routers and switches running as clients?.

We have many dialup users over POTS lines, how can we recieve callerID of these users on our 3660 routers? Is this possible?

As per what I know, no this is not possible. Firstly Cisco routers and IOS switches use NTP while Windows 2000 and NT servers use SNTP. SNTP does not support some NTP features like error-check. Secondly, Windows 2000 has a very high clock

refresh rate which to the best of my info, is not supported by IOS devices. However, I would advise you to dig more before accepting this as the final word.
