The RME syslog analyzer is a very useful tool, we have tens of thousands of messages a day.
Many messages are not displayed, they come up in the "Unknown Devices". I suspect this is because RME has discovered the device on one interface eg. serial, but the loopback is used for syslog messages.
I discover in Campus Manager and push the devices across to RME. Sometimes campus Manager does not retrieve the name even though the correct sysname/host name is set.
