Route to outside of PIX with dynamic IP address

Hi, I'm setting up a pix 501 IOS 6.3 which has a dynamic IP assigned from our ISP router.

I've the line in the config "ip address outside dhcp setroute" so I can see its getting an address assigned when loking at router config.

Do I need then the line for the default gateway "route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 ...." If so what follows the 0's?

On a second note, if an external port is assign IP address dynamically then on a remote peer which would be et up with a VPN tunnel, how is told about the PIX with dynamic IP address?

HI,

For the default route check if you can assign the exit interface as the gateway.

for the outside clients you will have to use DDNS.
