RSM Reloading

I have a cat5500 with the rsm blade, (rsp2) using version 12.2(17a)and have started having this problem. The router will freeze, and then reload a portion of the code, but traffic stops while this is happening, I reload the full switch and it stops for about a month, but then starts again getting worse until it happens every couple of hours. Here is the example logs produced:

*Sep 25 00:37:41: %C5IP-0-MSG: slot0 %DB-0-RESTART: Waiting for restart

*Sep 25 00:37:42: %CBUS-3-CMDTIMEOUT: Cmd timed out, CCB 0x5800FF20, slot 0, cmd

code 2

-Traceback= 603FE914 603FEDC0 603F6BC4 603F4904 6030DFF4 6030E1EC

*Sep 25 00:37:42: %DBUS-3-DBUSINTERR: Slot 0, Internal Error

*Sep 25 00:37:45: %RSP-3-RESTART: cbus complex

*Sep 25 00:38:09: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Vlan0, changed state to up

*Sep 25 00:38:11: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Vlan10, changed state to up

*Sep 25 00:38:11: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Vlan20, changed state to up

*Sep 25 00:38:11: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Vlan21, changed state to up

*Sep 25 00:38:11: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Vlan110, changed state to up

*Sep 25 00:38:11: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Vlan150, changed state to up

*Sep 25 00:38:11: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Vlan200, changed state to up

I found a bug about the same error message cmd-timeout but has no info about how to fix it or what version will repair it. I can't afford the support on the device yet, so any help you provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

The bug that you are referring to is CSCdm92277. The bug has been resolved in version 12.0(4.6)W05(13.00.02). Since you are running a current version there should not be a probelm. You might have to explore other possiblities. The following document might help.
