Serial interface dont appears in my config

Hello,

I have two routers cisco1721 using IOS with IPSEC 3DES features. But, When i Check my serial interface, it dont apears in my config so i have WIC-1T card inteface.

What is the problem. The two routers are new.

Plz I need Help,

Different IOS releases support different hardware modules. Your version of IOS might not support the WIC-1T, in which case you'll need to get a version that does (there's an online hardware-software compatibility matrix that can help here).

Run 'show version' to confirm whether or not the router can see the WIC card. Reinserting the card coudn't hurt either.
