Setting up an interconnect between 2 - 6500s

I was wondering what I need to do to properly configure the two GB interfaces on the sup. engines of a pair of 6500s to have them work properly as one pipe between the two. I am not real familiar with the proper syntax on CatOS and was hoping someone could give me some feedback on this.

Do I need to use the 'set port channel' and 'set trunk' commands? Anything else?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

You can channel for more bandwidth between the 2 switches. You will need to trunk if you have more than one VLAN which you need to pass on the links.
