SFP capability

I having few doubts regarding SFP.

1. Can we insert 1000BaseSX in Ten Gig port for 1 gig link?

Technically yes, but check interface x/x capabilities before you can use it.

Can you more information, what is the device and SFP module number.

Hi,

I am having WS-C3850-12XS (12x 10Gbps SFP ports).

Currently i am using 1000BaseSX on Cisco 3750 on Gig port but want to migrate this link to WS-C3850-12XS which is having 10 Gig port. So can i use the same SFP on Ten Gig port?

Yes you can do that for testing move 1 SFP and test and do migration.
