Hi there,
Thanks for reading
I'm trying to set up a PRIV SNMPv3 config on a C9200 running 17.6.3 to allow connection to our Solarwinds server. Debugging leads with an "Unknown Engine ID" error. I'm able to see the local engine ID but suspect that I need the remote Solarwinds side.
Any thoughts are appreciated!
Thanks,
Bob

Thanks! That page had this one embedded: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/snmp/configuration/xe-3e/snmp-xe-3e-book/nm-snmp-snmpv3-comm-supp.html which had this command (which configs the engID for remote user):
Example:
Device(config)# snmp-server engineID remote 172.16.15.4 udp-port 120 1a2833c0129a
Thanks again!
