I recently tried to update SDM on my cisco 1711 using the auto update feature.
Of course, that failed.
Now my problem is that the auto update upload a bunch of files without overwriting the old ones, so now I have to free space on my flash.
I read that I could do a "squeeze flash:" to delete files marked as [deleted]. Unfortunately, I get this error:
First create squeeze log by erasing the entire device
%Error squeezing flash (Missing or corrupted log)
The problem is that I really don't want to erase the whole flash:, since I believe it will also erase my IOS image.
Is there another way? Or could I recover the old SDM files, the undelete command doesn't exist =/
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Have u already marked the undesired files as delete? As in "delete flash:xxx.htm" for example.
After which performing a squeeze should erase the files permanently from flash.

All the files are marked as [deleted], but I absolutely have to erase flash: to permanently remove them.
Fortunately, doing an erase flash: does not disturb normal operation.
So, I just backed up my IOS image and my sdm software/configs, erased the flash, reupload the IOS image and sdm software with a tftp server.
Everything went great without ever needing to disturb service. ;)
