Could you post the configuration of both your routers, and let us know their MAC addresses please?

Have you traced the MAC address 0040.EFF2.75f2? The address seems to belong to hypercom, inc.

Hi,

This error message is very common if you have configured HSRP.

Is both the routers are coming active at a same time it will report this error message. There can be some reasons why both routers come active at a same time. Like if hello packets send from one active router to standby router and are getting lost in way it can also bring second router which is standby to think that active had gone down and it will coem up and that time it will report the same error message.

Also sometimes it hits a bug.

Can you please tell me if you are running HSRP on cat6000 or not??

If you use switches with two uplink to the backbone, I would check for spanning-tree loops.
