Hi all together!
There is large network with about 40 L2 (access) and 5 L3(vlan termination) switches. What is, with your point of view, the right method of using alloved vlan feature - should I use it on one side of links, mostly in hub points of network, Or it's advisable to apply this feature on both sides of links?

Hi,
It should always be applied on both sides of the trunk to take care of any undesirable results. This way your STP intances will be consistent and all switches will have same view on the n/w.

Depends on how you are trunking , if transparent then yes do both sides the same , if running client -server then you should only have to do it on the server side as this propagates to the client what is allowed on the trunk .
