switch hangup

i;ve 3560 switch that hang in this step;than it will continue after 3 Mts:

POST: PortASIC RingLoopback Tests : Begin

POST: PortASIC RingLoopback Tests : End, Status Passed

POST: PortASIC CAM Subsystem Tests : Begin

Hi ALi,

When the switch is booted up it performs the POST test which is power on self test for all the hardware components.

If it just waits for some time and proceed and later you can see the switch prompt it is normal behavior as it may take sometime to do the POST test but if incase it just hangs at this stage or show status FAILD then it may be a hardware failure.
