Switch recomendation

Hi,

I need to recommend a switching solution with at least the following characteristics:

- 12 10/100/1000BaseT or 12 1000BaseT Ports

- 6 1000SX Ports

- 6 GBIC Ports

I don't care if it's a fixed or modular switch, or even if many stacked switched compose the solution, altough I prefer a "one switch" approach.

I need to beat a 3Com 4050 switch.

Any recommendation will be appreciated.

You dont say what features you require, ie. Layer 2-7 functionality etc.

The 4500 & 6500 will be a one box solution. The smaller model numbers will also achieve what you want if they are stacked etc.

It's funny, but I only need that number of ports. Don't care about the features.
