Hello all,

I'm getting the message hereunder each hour on a Cat4006:

%C4K_REDUNDANCY-5-CONFIGSYNC: The calendar has been successfully synchronized to the standby supervisor

Is there a way I can disable this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards.

Alex

There is an enhancement request to rate limit this message. 12.2(25)EW will have it.

Take a look at

This is an enhancement request to make a knob ratelimitting below messages.

%C4K_REDUNDANCY-5-CONFIGSYNC: The calendar has been successfully synchronized to the standby supervisor

The messages are shown once a hour when redundant sup4s are configured with "ntp update-calendar".

Hello Prashanth,

Thanks a lot for your answer. I tried to have a look to the bug description, but it seems to be confidential. Is there a reason?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Alex

It was internally found during dev-test and hence not visible on CCO at this time. The details I included were the release notes for the bug.

Hello,

Thanks for the info.

Concerning the bug description, the switch is running with Sup2Plus (WS-X4013+) and the problem is also present on this kind of hardware.

Maybe the bug description should be updated.

Regards.

Rui

P.S.: My compliments for the professional way you work.

It is an IOS bug and affects all IOS based Supervisors for CAT4000.

I have changed the bug to be visible on CCO. It will be on CCO over the next 24-48 hrs at
