System Ok light keeps blinking!???

Hello,

I have a 1605-R, that when powered on the System OK light on the front panel keeps blinking, normally indicating the boot process. I let it go for 15 minutes just to be sure it dosen't eventually end up booting properly.

I can't get access to the console port either, perhaps related to the same issue?

Any ideas?

As you mentioned, system LED blinking is normal during bootup

Regarding you not able to console in, are you able to console into any other cisco device with the same cable/pc? I want to make sure the cable/console settings are good. If so, and you see nothing on the 1605 console, try sending a break after you reboot the router. If you are able to break into rommon, try a manual boot
