T3/E3 module on 2611

Hi,

In the cisco website, it says that T3/E3 module will only work on 2650 with IOS 12.2. Anyone has tried using this module on 2611 before?

Will it damage the module if it is not supportable on 2611?

Unsupported network modules on the 2600 are usually not recognized by the system and should not be damaged. But this could be on a case to case basis. Personally, I don't recommend doing/trying it.
