Ticker Window

I was looking for a FAQ or search function in the forum because I am sure my question has been addressed.

Q. How do you update the "Ticker Window" in CW2K?

This is the URL from where the ticker is updated:

http://www.cisco.com/public/sw-center/netmgmt/text/cwnews.txt

It updates automatically from Cisco.com every 24hrs. Or you can stop and then restart the JRunProxyServer to see if it gets updated or not. pdterm JRunProxyServer, pdexec JRunProxyServer from the CLI.

However if you have a proxy in between, make sure you configured it on RME -> Administration -> Server Configuration -> Proxy URL. If it still does not work with the Proxy, then,

CSCea62163: 'ticker window does not work with proxy' is also a known issue. Hope this helps.
