Unable to session into modules in 6500 running IOS

I am experencing an issue where when I attempt to session into a module (IDSM-2 in this case) it returns an error "telnet connections not permitted from this terminal" which doesn't make sense to me. I normally run the IDSM with the telent server disabled, but this is not the fix as I still can not session to the mod when I have it enabled.

Any help would be appreciated,

On your 6500 Console and/or VTY lines have you got 'transport output none' configured?

Thanks for the response. That was the problem. I am again able to session to the mod.
