Does any one know of any known issue about 3600 router no reporting correct memory? I Just reasonly upgraded my 3620 router to what I know to be 64mb because of the cisco part number on the memory. The memory I took I was not really sure because all along its always had been reporting 29k and the part number did not match any cisco number. How can I tell if the memory slot has gone bad.

Your router is reporting the correct amount of RAM:
cisco 3620 (R4700) processor (revision 0x81) with 59392K/6144K bytes of memory.
The spilt there, if memory serves, reflects how the router chooses to logically allocate its RAM at boot time between "process" and "interrupt" memory. If you add them together, you get 65536K - 64MB.
The 29K figure you see is for non-volatile configuration memory, which is the space where the router stores its configuration. This is fixed and cannot be upgraded (but you can choose to store your configuration in flash instead, which has more room). For the most part you don't need to worry about NVRAM.
