I buy 2950-24 Catalyst SI and I want use the "switchport protected" as
I read in "Catalyst 2950 and catalyst 2955 switch software
configuration guide". In this guide I finded chapter "Configuring
Protected Port" (Page 20-4). There are the part of this guide:
... A protected port does not forward any traffic (unicast, multicast,
or broadcast) to any other port that is also a protected port. Traffic
cannot be forwarded between protected ports at Layer 2;...
My question is: can I use this command (switchport protected) to deny
traffic between other protected ports if I have 2950-24 with SI?
