Using ports on Cat 4006 with L3 card

I know the L3 card has G1/G2 which are the external ports and then G3/G4 which are the backplane ports. What I am wondering is if I can do any sort of trunking or something to use a couple of those Cat 5 ports in the layer 3 card, or like trunk G3 to a couple of the ports, I need to connect the switch to a couple layer 3 devices and I dont have fiber to do it with.

The 10/100 ports on the L3 card used as layer 2 ports. You can set them to trunk and use a "router on a stick" design.

I understand the on a stick concept, but how would I trunk them, I am unfamiliar with CatOS
