2610 to 801 ISDN disconnect problem

Hi,

I can connect my 801 to my 2610, it works well. But when I try to call my 801 from my 2610 it does not work, disconnecting after 3 seconds.

The debug isdn Q931 shows :

- on my 2610 : DISCONNECT pd = 8 call ref = 0xF5

Cause i = 0x8792 - No user responding

- on my 801 : ISDN BR0: RX <- RELEASE_COMP pd = 8 callreg = 0x2F

cause i = 0x87EF - Protocol error, unspecified

On both routers :

IOS : 12.0.

isdn switch-type vn3

isdn tei-negitiation first-call

I hope someone here could give me an idea.

Didier

Often times complex troubleshooting issues are best addressed in an interactive trouble-shooting session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, it’s often difficult to do so for this type of issue.

To utilize the resources at our Technical Assistance Center, please visit http://www.cisco.com/tac and to open a case with one of our TAC engineers, visit http://www.cisco.com/tac/caseopen

If anyone else in the forum has some advice, please reply to this thread.

Thank you for posting.

I have found THE solution in Google news archive : IOS 12.0(5) must be updated by IOS 12.0(7). I have done it, it's ok now. Why does CISCO continue to sell 12.0(5) version ?
