Hi all, when I do sh spanning tree on my switch it gives me the output shown below, my question is, what is the root and bridge id ? is that the actual root switches info, and the bridge id is its own info ?

Hi,

Yes, the Root ID is the MAC address and Priority of the Root Bridge. The Bridge ID is the MAC address and Priority of the bridge that the show command was run on.
