Hello,
I was wondering if you could add 2 ip addresses in a different subnet to 1 VLAN (interface) on the MSFC module.
The reason I ask this is because of the fact that I would like to setup a host server with several virtual servers. The host server should be running in an other subnet to make my ACL's a little easier.
The ACL is different for both the host- and virtual servers.
Any other (better) suggestions are welcome.
Hardware is a Cisco catalyst 6509 with MSFC blade.
Regards
Koen

You could add secondary addresses to the same vlan interface
int vlan 2
ip add 1.1.1.1 Mask
ip add 2.2.2.2 Mask sec
ip add 3.3.3.3 Mask sec

Ok thank you, I was not sure that the sec worked in vlans's.
I'll give it a try.
Thanks.
