VMPS with auxiliary vlans

We are trying to set ports with dynamic membership for both primary and auxiliary vlans. According to documentation I found, this is accomplished by setting the port to dynamic membership, the aux vlan to untagged and having both device MAC addresses (in our case a Macintosh G4 Tower and a 7960 phone) in our VMPS database.

What seems to happen is the port constantly flips back and forth between the vlan for the PC and the vlan for the phone. In general, the phone will work OK but the PC is not able to consistently browse websites, etc. If a ping flood (or presumably any heavy constant traffic) is initiated from the PC, the phone will drop offline.

Is dynamic assignment for both primary and aux vlans at the same time a supported configuration?

You will need to provide the platform, code and supervisor (if applicable) to get a proper answer to this..Both voice and data VMPS will work pending the above.

This is a Catalyst 6513 w/MSFC2 in hybrid mode. We are running 7.6(5) CatOS and 12.1(11b)E IOS.

We have sup720's that are not yet installed, hopefully any solution will also work on the 720.
