Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a good (free) tool that I could use to test the throughput of a WAN connection. We purchased a full T1 from our SP, but I'm not certain that I'm getting 1.544Mbps throughput. I should note that there are no routers involved and that it is a fully switched (L2) service (i.e. lan extension).
I've used NetIQ, but it has some limitations. Any other suggestions on how I can see what it is that I'm getting from the SP?
TIA,
Dave

I've found TTCP to be reliable. There's a Windows version that can be located via Google if necessary.

Wow! This seems like a cool utility. It's even embedded into the Cisco IOS (after 11.2) which means you don't need to coordinate with a PC on the other side.
Thanks,
Dave
