Dear all,
Need your comment in this problem. Yesterday , while users were connected to the network, suddenly they experienced a drop of connection ; i.e they were disconnected from the network.Upon observation, we realised that the 2950 catalyst switch rebooted a few times even though we didn't disrupt the power cable.
After performing "show version" on the switch, we found out this line " System returned to ROM by error - signal 10, exception code (0x0008)! , pc0x8043B7DC" but we could not find the meaning of this alert through the Internet. Does anyone know what it means?

Can you paste a sh version. Your switch crashed which caused a reboot of the box. This could be due to a bug.

Thanks for the reply, everyone. I have restarted the switch and now the error is not there anymore. How do I fix the bug for the software version?
