I see references to "nodes" and I'm not sure if nodes are considered routers/switches/hubs or just routers or all devices on a network. This is not clear to me.
A node can be a router, a switch, a hub, a port, a group of network equipment in a site or location. It depends upon the point of view, but in general it can be any point of network or network equipment.
