Some of our users have intermetent problem with our dial up, they receive continuous ringing when they dial in and I want to find out the correct debug command or any commands that will tell if there is any available modem or line to receive the call.

The equipment setup is as follows:

Cisco3745

30DM module

2-port e1 (but only one is use - 30 channels)

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks,

Benjamin

deb isdn q931 or deb cas (based on the signaling used on E1)..will indicate if a call reached the c3745 or not

deb modem / deb modem csm …to see which modem has been allotted for the incoming call.

deb ppp negotiation …to see ppp negotiation & authentication if done locally OR else deb aaa authentication / deb aaa authorization to see authen.

show modem …to see if we have free modems or not.

In addition you can enable "modem call-record terse" on the c3700. Call tracker is also an option.
