Several colleagues will be working together to prep for Cisco certifications. Each of us has a home network with broadband Internet access. We need help in determining which device we should get for our homes. Based on the following, can you provide recommendations on the hardware and which version of IOS will be needed? (We will likely get the devices from EBAY.
1. VPN functionality from/to each home over in ternet.
2. Access lists for subnets at each home.
3. 2 LAN interfaces to support multiple subnets at each home.
4. Remote administration of the devices over the Internet (I think through the VPN.)
5. Each home network will have Windows servers and clients, and maybe a Linux web server.
We don't yet know what else we should be looking for so any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.
