I have a Customer who currently uses CNR and I need to investigate an alternative platform. It currently runs on AIX, which is going out of support later this year.

I am looking to get some information: -

o Which platform is typically used in the market place?

o Any reference sites in the UK?

o Any known issues/problems with CNR on platforms other then AIX?

o Which platform is CNR developed on?

Any information would be appreciated so I can make an informed

decision and initiate orders, etc.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi,

Network Registrar 3.5 runs on Windows 2000 and NT4, Solaris 2.5.1, Solaris 2.6, and Solaris 7. Network Registrar's 3.5 GUI also runs on Windows 95 and Windows 98.

Look here for more information:

I guess the latest release is 5.5. It can run on Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX. Check it out at Cisco's website.

Hope that helps
