Writing flash from PC

Is there a utility to format a flash card in a PC for a Cisco device and copy files to it?

Did you use a special program to format the flash for a Cisco device? If so, what is its name?

I cannot read or write a cisco-formatted flash card in my XP laptop, that is why I have the question?

Maybe this will be of interest to you:

This software is still under development and it only reads cisco flash cards for now but the developer is working on a read/write version.
