7505 router access-list

I removed ip access-list ext 101. edited version off line. Then pasted new ip access-list ext 101 back in. Added ip access-group 101 back to interface.

sh ip access-list , i don't see 101 entries. I do see 101 in sh run or sh conf.

Any clues?

Can anyone send me a good procedure for tftp config changes on 7505?

thanks

This problem was documented in the following ddts CSCdi69406. Here are the bug details:

show ip access-list (list#) does not show numbered ACLs

Release Notes

show ip access-list and sh ip access-list (ACL#), sh access-list commands may fail to show numbered access-list. This is a cosmetic parser error, the numbered access-list is still configured and stored, it can be viewed with write term or show running-config.

So the way you have configured your router is correct, problem is cosmetic and fixed after 11.2 code.
