BPDU Skewing?

Hello all,

We have dual 6509's Hybrid Mode 8.3.1 and are trying to troubleshoot a STP problem. I enabled bpdu-skewing on both switches and noticed many error logs. My first question is this normal behavior to have so many delayed bpdu packets? And, secondly in the bpdu-skewing stats i noticed large numbers for the worst category 4345. I'm curious as to what causes this kind of delay and should we be concerned? Your suggestions are all welcomed...Thx!

Hi,

the delay depends on L1-L2 problem, like CPU utilization, link traffic, L2 specific problem ...

I need more infos about your L2 topology, and STP features applyed (like loop guard, etc).
