Cisco 3745 router IOS upgrade issue

Hi,

I have a Cisco 3745 router with the IOS image file c3745-advipservicesk9-mz.123-11.T2.bin

The problem is that when I am trying to place NM-4B-S/T with this router, it crashes. The attached file contains this information.

I thought that this might be an IOS issue so I got another IOS image which I determined from Cisco Dynamic Configuration tool that supports NM-4B-S/T and whenever I am trying to upload this IOS on 3745 router I am getting the following error:-

Here is the information about this IOS image from Cisco IOS Software Selector tool:-

If anyone has any idea that can resolve this issue then please help..

I see only one thing which might be the reason for TFTP Failure can u pls change the file name being coded while doing the TFTP to c3745-advipservicesk9-mz.123-11.T7.bin instead of c3745advipservicesk9mz12311T7.bin coz the file name as per the cco displays the same.

Thank you for your suggestion. Actually before posting here I did try this out. I tried this with the name you just mentioned and even with the file name abc.bin (there was nothing to lose)...

Whats odd is that this same NM-4B-S/T is working on 2620XM running with base IP IOS..The attachment contains this information...

Any help or hint in this matter will be greatly appreciated...

hi there

For your VPN module to work u mite need the advipserv code in your box without which you cant make use of the same,but again as u mentioned IP base ios will do for ur 4 port BRI S/T card with which you cant make use of the AIM (VPN module)

if you have CCO will suggest to key in all ur h/w module details and check out for a stable ios which can be loaded onto ur box.i did give a fair try and got these codes out from CCO..
