hey ,we have a 7600 connected with remote branches and we want to add secondary 7600 to ensure a redundancy between them, this two router have STM and GigaEthernet interfaces, for the LAN part we have two 6500 switches (not support VSS).
what best designe for this topology for switching (HSRP,GLBP) and wan redundancy ?,thnaks.

If it's not too late, then please consider sticking a Nexus 7000.

and what you say about the current topology ?

If you are running encryption on WAN then you would be having some hardware encryption module on 7600 routers and in that case nexus 7k would not be an option on wan side.
You can consider adding an ASR on the WAN part and leave the lan part as it is since you already have a redundant cat 6k.
