EHWIC-4G-LTE-G - Sierra Wireless MC7710 4G-G FIRMWARE UPGRADE

Has anyone successfully upgraded the firmware for the MC7710?

I downloaded the software (SWI9X15C_05.05.26.02_00_AU_005.009_001-field.spk) and followed the instructions on this link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/interfaces/software/feature/guide/EHWIC-4G-LTESW.html#pgfId-1335775

but get the following error:

F/W Upgrade: FAILED
FW Upgrade CMD: 3 failed
F/W Upgrade: FAILED

According to the instructions. The file format should be .cwe but on the Cisco download page it only has the .spk file the LTE-G cards.

I upgraded a router to 15.4(3)M4, and after rebooting noticed these two files appeared in the flash automatically (at least, I did not notice them before, and their date/time stamps suggest they just recently created):

SWI9X15C_05.05.26.02_00_GENEU-4G_005.010_002-field.spk

SWI9X15C_05.05.26.02_00_AU_005.009_001-field.spk

When I do a "show cellular 0 hardware" the 4G card seems to be running this version of the firmware.
